ALVENO BAL AND ALVENO AC - SCORPION ANTISERA

ALBILA Scorpions are milked in the scorpion unit to produce venom. The venom mixture to be used in the production of antivenom is prepared by decomposing the toxic peptide and proteins. Hyperimmmunization of healthy horses in the ALBILA Horse Farm Unit with increasing doses of scorpion venom is performed. Hyperimmune plasma is taken to the production facility at the GMP standards located in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone of ALBILA. After quality control testing, the plasma is taken to the purification unit and a high purity active scorpion antivenom containing F (ab') 2 fragments that neutralize the scorpion venom is obtained. The obtained antivenom is lyophilized and prepared for use with the solvent in the vial.
