SNAKE ANTISERA

Hyperimmmunization of healthy horses in the ALBILA Horse Farm Unit with increasing doses of snake venom is performed. Hyperimmune plasma is taken to the production facility at the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards located in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone of ALBILA. After quality control testing, the plasma is taken to the purification unit and high purity active snake antivenom containing F (ab')2 fragments obtainment studies are ongoing.
